Information about prints
My prints are high quality scans of original paintings. I sometimes make small adjustments so they work better as prints, and occasionally I cut them out and rearrange them, as I did to make the Dancehall and Anne's Birds prints, which you can see in the shop.
The printers I use are based just outside Porto, and the quality of their prints is excellent. They print my pictures how I like, on very good quality paper, nice and thick.
Every print is printed to order. This means they take a little longer to get to you, because first I have to place the printing order and go and collect them.
I prefer it this way because I don't keep a big stack of prints that might get creased or damaged.
I can ship to most places. For prints I use a recorded delivery service. With some smaller orders of giftcards and notepads I can send them safely through the regular mail. Things generally take about three weeks to arrive, but some items might take longer. The VOLCANO rug for example will take 4-6 weeks, because it has to be handmade first.
If there's any reason why I can't ship to you, or if shipping might be delayed, I'll send you an email with more information.
I do refunds if something arrives damaged or if I've made a mistake and sent you the wrong thing.
Please tell me if something arrives in bad condition because a postman has sat on it, so I can send you another one, and also so I can package things better in the future.
Before you order, check the dimensions of prints to make sure you know how big/small they are.
Other than this I can't think of any other reason why you'd want to send anything back!
If you want to hang any of my pictures anywhere there's direct sunlight, it's best to frame them behind UV glass to avoid fading over time.
I don't offer a framed option because it can be complicated to send framed pictures by post. I can do it though. Send me a message using the contact form at the bottom of the ABOUT page.
And if you want an extra special frame for your picture, I can suggest an excellent framers in London whose frames are works of art in themselves.
